Il presidente del Cluster Tecnologico Nazionale sull’Economia del Mare BIG Giovanni Caprino ha incontrato ieri il Ministro per le Politiche del Mare Nello Musumeci. Una proficua occasione di lavoro per approfondire l’importanza del ruolo del cluster di raccordo tra industria e mondo della ricerca, così come tra sistema pubblico e privato e di condividere le principali progettualità in corso. Significativa la convergenza sull’importanza che l’Italia abbia l’Economia del Mare tra gli asset ritenuti strategici per lo sviluppo del Paese, scelta confermata anche dalla istituzione di BIG, unico cluster nazionale sull’Economia Blu istituito e riconosciuto dal Ministero dell’Università e della Ricerca.
Si terrà il 14 settembre 2023, in modalità online, dalle ore 14:00 alle 17:30 il secondo Corso di formazione gratuito dal titolo “HORIZON EUROPE – IMPATTO: Come massimizzare l’impatto di una proposta collaborativa in Horizon Europe” organizzato da Cluster Blue Italian Growth in collaborazione con APRE – Agenzia per la Promozione della Ricerca Europea. Cluster BIG supporta i soci nella creazione di nuovi partenariati, ma a seguito del successo registrato durante il primo corso anche in questa occasione, la partecipazione sarà aperta al network internazionale del Cluster per favorire nuove interazioni; pertanto, il corso si terrà in lingua inglese. Quali sono gli obiettivi di questa newsletter rinnovata nell’immagine e nella forma? La newsletter continuerà ad essere lo strumento informativo privilegiato per rimanere aggiornati sulle attività del Cluster, sui progetti in corso, sui principali eventi e per approfondirne gli aspetti più rilevanti. Ma vuole essere sempre di più anche a disposizione dei soci e degli stakeholders del mare per raccontarsi, condividere le proprie informazioni, moltiplicare le occasioni di visibilità per le proprie attività ed i propri progetti. Per favorire lo scambio di informazioni, in ogni numero della newsletter saranno presenti brevi interviste rivolte ai soci. In questo primo numero ho voluto rompere il ghiaccio personalmente, ma auspico davvero una grande partecipazione da parte di tutti i nostri associati. Sono certo che da questo spazio potranno emergere informazioni utili e tanti spunti per le attività del Cluster. Al tempo stesso la newsletter sarà un’occasione di confronto tra i principali interlocutori istituzionali, associativi e imprenditoriali dell’Economia del Mare italiana. Il nuovo Governo sembra dare al mare una nuova centralità, con l’istituzione del Ministro per le Politiche del Mare e del CIPOM. Già nel 2012 l’Economia del Mare è stata inserita tra gli ambiti tecnologici e applicativi ritenuti strategici per l’Italia, in grado di affermare la centralità del nostro Paese nel contesto euro-mediterraneo. Per questo è nato il nostro Cluster. È indubbio, però, che con l’istituzione del nuovo Ministro e del CIPOM, l’Economia del Mare assume quella valenza politica necessaria per orientare realmente gli investimenti e le strategie nazionali. Oggi è evidente che il mare è un’opportunità. Noi ci posizioniamo nel mondo per il nostro alto livello tecnologico e mai come in questo momento dobbiamo mettere insieme tutto il processo di innovazione, ricerca e alta tecnologia industriale. Ora bisogna accelerare. Che ruolo può svolgere il Cluster in questo contesto? Il nostro è l’unico Cluster Tecnologico Nazionale sull’Economia del Mare, istituito e riconosciuto dal Ministero della Università e della Ricerca per rafforzare il collegamento tra mondo della Ricerca e quello delle Imprese, tra Università e Industrie, tra pubblico e privato. CTN BIG in questo contesto può e deve rappresentare, con ancora più evidenza, l’elemento di congiunzione per favorire lo sviluppo tecnologico della Blue Economy e con esso la competitività del Sistema Mare italiano.
